Enrollment for certain HUBS courses is now conducted via Sisu!

Following the change made on November 6, 2023, enrollment for two HUBS courses now takes place through the Tampere University Sisu study system.

Previously, all HUBS studies were found in Tampere University of Applied Sciences’ Pakki system, but now the Building an Entrepreneurial Portfolio (TAU.HUBS.01) and HUBS Pre-Incubator (TAU.HUBS.02) courses have transitioned to Tampere University’s Sisu system.

If the course is not in your own system, enrollment requires the use of the Cross-institutional Study Service.

Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to enroll in these two courses through the Open University of Applied Sciences. We will notify you as soon as the courses become available in the Open University.

Many students from both the university and TAMK participate in HUBS studies, so for this reason, some studies are also moving to Sisu. Everyone is still welcome to HUBS courses regardless of their field!

How do I know which courses are in Pakki and which courses are in Sisu?

For now, you can only enroll in two HUBS courses through Sisu: Building an Entrepreneurial Portfolio and HUBS Pre-Incubator.

Through our study calendar, you can always find course-specific enrollment information. In the sidebar of each course, enrollment instructions are specified based on whether you are a student from TAU or TAMK. Additionally, you will find a link in the sidebar to the Cross-institutional Study Service instructional video if you are not yet familiar with it.

I am a Tampere University student. What does this mean for me?

You can now enroll in the Entrepreneurial Portfolio and Pre-Incubator directly from Sisu. Other HUBS courses are still in TAMK’s Pakki system, requiring enrollment through the Cross-institutional Study Service.

I am a Tampere University of Applied Sciences student. What does this mean for me?

In the future, Entrepreneurial Portfolio and HUBS Pre-Incubator require enrollment through the Cross-institutional Study Service. Clear, detailed instructions for each course can be found on our website. Other HUBS courses are still in TAMK’s Pakki system, so you can enroll in them as usual.
