Online studies
HUBS online studies (24H Online library and other online study courses) are designed to be studied independently and you can start the course when it suits you best.
Our online courses are designed to be studied independently, so you can complete the course in a time that suits you. However, it is worth completing the tasks in such a way that the subject areas remain in memory. Also note that you complete the course well in advance of graduation.
The completions of the course will be checked within two weeks after the last return, after which the credits will be awarded. The credits should appear in Pakki immediately and during the next day in Sisu.
General questions
After the course coach has evaluated and registered the credits for you, the credits will be automatically transferred to Sisu from TAMK’s system Pakki. If you can’t see the credits in Sisu, try out these tips.
Firstly, you need to add the course to you personal study plan in Sisu if the course doesn’t appear automatically. If you need help with Sisu, you can check the tips from student guide (link opens to another window). If this doesn’t help either, please ask assistance from your faculty’s study coordinator.
Hopefully the problem will be solved with these tips!
Basically, all HUBS courses are evaluated on a scale of passed – failed. The evaluation criteria is always published with the course info in the HUBS website’s study calendar and in Pakki.
In the basic information on the course there is always information about where the study course is carried out. Basically, HUBS offers either 100 % online or contact teaching courses on campus. Since the courses on campus are based on team learning and interactive dialogue, you cannot participate in them remotely.
Since the contact teaching courses are based on team learning and interactive dialogue, 100 % attendance is highly recommended. However, if there are necessary absences, always contact the coach responsible for the course and your own team in advance.
If you have such a situation, always agree on practical matters with the course coach.
