Our current team is also sending their greetings:

HUBS offers optional sustainable entrepreneurship studies for the entire Tampere Universities community. We support students’ development of entrepreneurial skills, and our goal is that people who graduate from Tampere Universities are skilled, courageous changemakers. We also sparr students and organize events throughout the year.

The HUBS team is excited about new ideas, and we encourage our student team to create inspiring content and events – by students, for students! Around HUBS activities, every Growth Hacker has the opportunity to develop their teamwork skills, public speaking, event organization, marketing, sales, and coaching based on their interests and strengths. The role can be shaped to suit your own interests.

We believe in doing good for ourselves and others (Be Good, Do Good). The Growth Hackers team can operate with autonomy, making decisions together, and HUBS provides strong trust and support for the team’s work and choices.

As a Growth Hacker, you work flexibly according to your own situation, coordinating with the team. A fixed-term employment contract will be made with Tampere University of Applied Sciences, although in your role, you will also be working with the whole Tampere Universities community.

The working hours are divided into two periods: 110 hours in the spring and 110 hours in the fall. Work is only done during the academic year. With an evenly distributed workload, the weekly commitment is approximately 7-8 hours. The compensation is 12.55 € per hour. You will mark your own hours and the salary will be paid accordingly, four times per year.

Send a short 2-minute introductory video about yourself by Sunday, 13th of April. The language of the team is mainly English, so send you video in English as well. In addition to Ira, the selection process will involve the current team members continuing as Growth Hackers.

I’m a master’s student in social anthropology who’s interested in communications and multiculturality. I want to ensure that students from different fields of studies can build up their skills related to working life and understand how entrepreneurship can be developed to better support the well-being of both humans and the environment. I believe that entrepreneurial skills, like self-leadership, are skills that support students in their studies and working lives.

I’m a Master’s student in Sustainable Transport, who is fascinated by social entrepreneurship and its power to drive meaningful change at the grassroots level and empower communities.
As a Growth Hacker at HUBS, I’m excited to connect with you, exchange ideas, and support your entrepreneurial growth.
When I’m not swimming, overthinking, or learning to ice skate (self-note: I am mastering it by the end of this winter), you’ll find me diving into abstract ideas and sparking meaningful conversations.

I’m a student at Proakatemia – I’m passionate about working with people and for people. Helping others grow, achieve their goals, and turn ideas into something real is what motivates me. I love exploring personal development, understanding different cultures, and managing projects that bring people together and create impact. To me, entrepreneurship is about building skills and finding solutions that truly make a difference.
When I’m not working, I’m probably at the gym pretending to be an athlete, spending time with people who inspire me, or secretly brainstorming my next big project. Basically, if I’m not moving, talking, chilling, or planning something, it’s probably because I fell asleep.
If you’re looking for someone to share ideas with or need support along the way, feel free to reach out. I’m always excited to connect, collaborate, and create something meaningful together 🙂

As a master’s student in Teaching, Learning, and Media Education, I’m driven by a passion for combining education and creativity to inspire growth and innovation. For me, entrepreneurship isn’t just about building businesses—it’s about fostering the courage to think differently, take initiative, and turn dreams into reality. I firmly believe that these skills can empower students from all fields to make their mark in the world.
When I’m not busy studying or working, you’ll probably find me with a crochet hook in hand, crafting something, or staying active with climbing, pole sports, running, or dancing. My life thrives on movement and creativity, and I love channeling that energy into supporting others as they build their own paths.
Whether it’s brainstorming over coffee, collaborating on a project, or sharing ideas, I’m here to connect and grow.
